A Virtual Life I believe that the game “Sims 3” is this year’s best video game, well in my opinion. The “Sims 3” game features a wide open neighborhood. You can choose to interact with your neighbors, take a stroll in the park, or go fishing in the ocean. To get started playing Sims 3 you must create your Sims. A Sim is a character that you play in the game. You could make the Sim your alter ego. You can customize each Sim to look exactly like you or a famous person, a random person, or your whole family. Customize each Sims facial features and build their body and weight until you are satisfied with their appearance. After creating what each Sim looks like, pick out their clothing and traits to match anyone you like. Choose a set of clothes your Sim will wear, such as every day clothes, formal clothes, pajamas, gym clothes, and swim wear. You then pick out a house that you can afford and start living your Sims life. There are many occupations you can get from each career branch. Unlike real life you can get any job you want. Choose from being in the Business, Criminal, Culinary, Journalism, Law Enforcement, Medical, Military, Music, Political, Professional Sports, and Science Career. This is where each trait that you picked out comes in handy. Such as, if you picked the “green thumb” trait, the trait would useful if you worked in the Culinary Career or the Science Career. You don’t necessarily need a specific trait for one job. You can pick the trait if you just wanted to garden or play the guitar. Once you are happy of what occupation, house, and traits you have; now your Sim can start to live their own life. The game lists the time and the date at the bottom of the screen. This comes in handy when you are going to your own job. There is really no need to buy a car to get to your job. If your Sim is running on time there will be a car waiting in front of your house to drop your Sim off at the job. Go to the bookstore to buy recipes, children’s books, and pleasure reading books. If your Sims family is short on money, no problem, just head over to the library. On days your Sim has off from work they can go the stadium to see a game. Your Sim can also go to the theater house to watch plays and movies. If your Sim has an interest in the galaxy and gazing at stars, it would be a good idea to buy a telescope. Your Sim can now search for unknown stars and name them. If your Sim is lucky enough they can get a glimpse of a meteorite and track down the space rock in your town and make a profit. The “Sims 3” game is a life-like game that you interact with other characters and explore the whole town. If you’re not happy with the existing name of the town, change it to whatever you like. Sims 3 gives you a chance to create a new and better you. Correct all your faults in your real life and live your own little perfect life.
